FRANCE'S KING & QUEEN OF GRAPE BRANDIES: ARMAGNAC
& COGNAC WITH F. PAUL PACULT
Join spirits guru F. Paul Pacult for this enlightening
battle of the brandies. Cognac and Armagnac: the names are similar;
both are demarcated brandy districts; the home nation's the same;
but the differences between these two hallmark oak-matured spirits
could not be any more stark or marked. One is a Rolls-Royce,
the other a Hummer. Both are magnificent when understood for
their individuality and manifold idiosyncrasies. This very special
event will be an exciting face-off between three super-premium
Cognacs and three super-premium Armagnacs. In the process, we'll
discuss what makes them unique; what makes them each so stunningly
rewarding to imbibers.
